patience ozokwor biography and movies

patience ozokwor biography and movies are always very interesting.  She is a proud and caring mother of four, Uzokwor’s first son is an engineer while the last is a footballer with Rangers International of Enugu.

Although she lost her husband a few years ago to a terminal disease, Uzokwor was full of joy and gratitude to God for her achievements in the entertainment world. The actress recalled her days as a teacher, broadcaster and owner of a fashion institute before she went into acting by accident or better still, as fate would have it.

“Right now I am a widow and I have three biological children and I have adopted one because I needed more children especially when my husband passed on.

“Patience is different from Mai Azuka you know (from her various roles on Nigerian movies). She is hard working. I do so many things in life. I was once a radio announcer. I am also a fashion designer.

“I love entertainment and that is why I do music, acting and designing.”

She also spoke about her experience in Zimbabwe. “Zimbabwe is a beautiful country with a lot of potential to be harnessed, I have also come hear to harness that myself.

“My stay here has been quite an experience. I was taken to Victoria Falls and I saw some elephants there.”

Nkiru Sylvanus biography, movies roles in nigerian films are many.

She is famous in movies for her ‘cry baby’ roles.

She talks about the few scandals she has had and her relationship with Pat Attah.

No, not really. Last year, I spent most of my time abroad last year. I did quite a bit of travelling. Then again, my studies kept me busy.

Were you shooting movies abroad?

Yes. I did a lot of work abroad.

About your studies, are you not done with school yet?

I will be done this year.

How come it is taking you so much time to get a degree?

It is not so much time, it is just four years.

It is as if you entered the university very late.

No. Just as I finished secondary school, I got admission into the university to read Medicine. But when I got to my second year, I decided to quit and go into acting. My acting career affected my studies, but I didn’t want to leave acting. I felt what was best for me was to quit. Two years later, I went back to school to study Mass Communication.

Out of cage

I came into the movie industry in 2000. I came in on my own after telling myself the honest truth that that is the place I belong. I met a producer, Felix Okoro, who was producing Out of Cage. He talked me into playing a daughter in the movie. It was my first movie and I didn’t have any experience except being a member of the dramatic society of my school. I thank the Almighty God for being very kind to me because I found favour where other very erudite graduates have not succeeded. He has been continually faithful to me . I can’t really point it out. I see his handiwork on daily basis. I see it that when it comes to God being there for you, he doesn’t mince words, he doesn’t act in a small way. He works for you through and through. I say this because I am a beneficiary of God’s favour, I see his handiwork in my life daily. I see his love and favour, in my daily successes, and I am very happy.

chiege alisigwe biography movies Nigerian actress

chiege alisigwe biography movies Nigerian actress.  The Nigerian movie industry has come a long way. We have tried to hue water out of stone. It has grown so much. We started small but with God and with interest in its growth, the Nigerian home video industry will grow from where it is now. The most challenging movie for me was Under Fire. I played a typical village girl who couldn’t speak English. My director helped me a lot. Tchidi Chikere did plenty to help me realise this and people are commending me for that role till date.

She has since featured in over 60 home videos. Some producers have thought that Chiege would not last in the industry when she came in. They had thought she was a flash in the pan that would run out in no time.

But almost six years after, she is still waxing stronger in Nollywood, determined, she says, to prove that she is into acting good.

On Nollywood she says: “We must begin to get people to specialise. I am an advocate for specialisation. Produce only if you are a producer, direct only if you are a director. People should be able to specialise, that way they would become masters of their arts.”

Some Chiege movies includes End of Dream, End of Money, Once a Soldier, Message, Traditional Marriage, My Portfolio, Sadist, Under Fire etc

Jim lyke  was born in Gabon Libreville. Jim Iyke is originally from Enugu Agidi village of Anambra state  in Eastern Nigeria.
Jim has 7 other sisters, making him the only son among other siblings of his father’s household. His early struggle to create a niche for himself was made manifest by his ability to believe and demonstrate his conviction at any
given opportunity.

He has been variously described as Nollywood’s playboy -a serial heartbreaker, one whose motto vis-a-vis relationships with women, appears to be “use them and leave them.” Tabloid stories about his sexual escapades are in volumes, leaving many to wonder what he is looking for in a woman or if he will ever find that unique woman who will melt his heart and make him entertain the thoughts of walking down the aisle.

Jim has a foundation and here’s a quote from his website: “The Jim lyke Foundation is a non-governmental, non-religious and non-political organization comprising of persons who are engaged in the advancement of the protection of rights and welfare of children with various deformities. This project is necessitated by the flagrant neglect and abuses of the rights of children born with deformities in Nigeria. Our paramount concern is to promote the well-being and improve medical condition of deformed children with particular reference to facial deformities.”
