Jim lyke  was born in Gabon Libreville. Jim Iyke is originally from Enugu Agidi village of Anambra state  in Eastern Nigeria.
Jim has 7 other sisters, making him the only son among other siblings of his father’s household. His early struggle to create a niche for himself was made manifest by his ability to believe and demonstrate his conviction at any
given opportunity.

He has been variously described as Nollywood’s playboy -a serial heartbreaker, one whose motto vis-a-vis relationships with women, appears to be “use them and leave them.” Tabloid stories about his sexual escapades are in volumes, leaving many to wonder what he is looking for in a woman or if he will ever find that unique woman who will melt his heart and make him entertain the thoughts of walking down the aisle.

Jim has a foundation and here’s a quote from his website: “The Jim lyke Foundation is a non-governmental, non-religious and non-political organization comprising of persons who are engaged in the advancement of the protection of rights and welfare of children with various deformities. This project is necessitated by the flagrant neglect and abuses of the rights of children born with deformities in Nigeria. Our paramount concern is to promote the well-being and improve medical condition of deformed children with particular reference to facial deformities.”
